i have myspace and i did one of those surveys i tried putting it up where they said but it doesn't show. same with backround. i do i make it work?

Sound like some of the HTML coding might be wrong if you are inputting it but not showing up. You would have to make sure you have the correct coding.
Also when inputting a background, it should be in the About Me section of your profile. After entering in the coding, click on view profile to view your page then save it.
