i have both. there are both pros and cons to both. i like myspace on one hand cuz it can be pretty and have music. but i also like facebook cuz it is easier to find ppl in my school. but if i would have to chose it would be facebook because its safer and more secure.

Make sure you have deleted the entire code. A refresh of your page may be needed, or delete your cookies and clear your history in your tools and see if if goes back to normal.

if you deleted the code it shouldve went away, check your profile and make sure you saved it after you deleted the code. sometimes it may take the myspace server a lil while to refresh your page. hope that helps

this is what i think. delete the surveys and then see if it still shows on your page. if it still does then i think you have to just delete your page or delete all your codes.

Whenever I open Microsoft Office Word, this stupid MySpace survey that I filled out is always the default thing that opens instead of just a blank document. I didn't even save the survey. How can I make a plain blank document the default?

Not a problem. We'll fix it by changing your Normal.dot template. Here's how:

1.Close all open copies of Word.

2.Open Word.

3.Click on the File-%26gt;Save As menu item.

4.In the "File of Type" list box, scroll down to Document Templates and select it. The directory should change and there should be a Normal.dot file in it. DON閳ユ┏ SAVE THE FILE. Press Cancel instead.

5.Click on the File-%26gt;Open menu item.

6.Select Normal.dot. Normal.dot should become your open document.

7.Now delete all the text in the document, including text in any headers and footers. To be sure you've gotten everything, click on the menu button that looks like 闇?This will show normally hidden or invisible characters such as paragraph marks (闇?, tabs and blanks. When you're sure you've deleted everything, click the button again to turn it off.

8.Save the file with File-%26gt;Save. You may get a warning message about the Global template having been changed. This is OK. Click Yes.

9.Close Word.

i dont have the answer to that question but, if u dont like ms word becoz of the file size, u cud get atlantis word processor, its less than 6MB. but u can get the serial from serials.ws. its easy to use, just like ms word, and doesnt take up much space, but that wud mean u wud have to uninstall ms office. but u can still use spreadhseet, powerpoint, publisher, database etc. on zoho.com.

Grrrr.... Spammers are really starting to piss me off. I set up my profile so you have to know either my Email or my Last name before you can send me an Invite, I did this to prevent spammer and lamers who make fake profiles from tryin to add me, and to keep my friends list to a minimum.. its not a popularity contest to me.. but.. somehow spammers are getting through.

i have been getting friend requests a LOT lately. I go to their profile to check them out only to find they are spammers. You know.. the profiles with ads and surveys to make money or the same ol bullshit about me profile "hey i have been hearing all the hype about myspace..blahblah... Im a college student....blah blah.. need money.. blah blah.. Haha. I see people complain constantly about spam mail on myspace. I never get any. Have you checked out the new spam set up? Go to account settings on your home page. There are settings there that allow you to set things up to make it harder for spammers. Also try truning off the online icon. Also spammers will find you by what you type in your page so a little trick I like to do is go to mytheme.com and use their drawing tool and open a blank image to which I add text for my interets and about me and then save to photobucket. That way its like picture instead and can't be picked up. Avoid opening spammers pages and be careful of befriending anyone who has tracker adds and crap on their page. If they are too stupid to deleted they are going to click on something else and cause problems.

Hi! I have been dating this girl for 5 weeks now. I am CRAZY about her and she has ALWAYS seemed crazy over me. I trust her and I do love her very VERY much. There's just something bothering me...and I KNOW I'm gonna sound retarded but I'd like to hear from you guys all the same.

Since we first met over 2 months ago we have been INCREDIBLY close. It's just that, recently, the amount of attention she has been giving me on MySpace has dwindled. It used to be that when she'd get online she'd post bulletins and fill out romance surveys and every question she'd answer she'd tie it into how happy she was with me. I'd post bulletins and she'd read them ALL and reply to them with cute things and vice versa...she'd check EVERY MORNING to see if I had posted the night before. Also we'd leave TONS and TONS of long lovey dovey comments to each other...but the past couple weeks she's stopped all this. She hardly posts anything related to me and when she leaves a comment they are short.

You have to open the part of your account where you manage your profile ( where you fill in the about me, likes, that stuff).

Where you paste makes a difference as to where it will appear in your profile. It may take a couple of tries to get it where you want it but it's pretty easy to figure out.

Log on then go to or click edit profile, you'll see bunch of sections such as "about me", "I'd like to meet", etc, etc. Paste the code onto those sections or either one, depends on which section you want people to see your surveys, music videos, clips, etc and then save it. If it's a layout or background code, I usually paste it onto the "about me" section. I like pasting music video codes onto the music section and movie images and clips onto the movies section so they won't be all crowded in the middle.

Yes, I have MySpace. And it's not a stupid question. I have a lot of friends who are newbies to MySpace and HTML and stuff. I've been on MySpace for like 3 years now. Anyways.

On your homepage click on "edit profile" whcih should be next to your picture and paste it into one of the text boxes (about me, interests, music, etc.) and click save all changes. It's simple. You'll get used to it. I even remember some codes without looking them up :P

Yeah, it can be. I can my page limited to just friends from high school and college and am very selective about what I put in there. However, I have heard a couple of bad cases of drama that stemmed from myspace. My one friend, her college friends, and her roommate got into a big feud because the roommate posted a blog that called my friend and her circle of college friends and the blog was written with the sole purpose of ripping them all apart. Another friend was at the mall with me and another friend when his gf called and started interrogating him about a comment on his page from another girl and accused him of cheating. It turned out that the comment was just an ad for a porn site posted by someone who hacked into his account.

Sound like some of the HTML coding might be wrong if you are inputting it but not showing up. You would have to make sure you have the correct coding.

Also when inputting a background, it should be in the About Me section of your profile. After entering in the coding, click on view profile to view your page then save it.

I think you should click "Home" along the top toolbar, below the ads, and then click "Post Bulletin", it is in a blue rectangle near "Inbox" and "Friend requests". Some people like to post them in their pages, such as in the "About Me" section, but I think it makes it hard to read.

Well, for me I think it's great because i am in touch w/ my daughter who is away at college and her colllege friends have added me as well and also have found people i know tht are on it. Get married. I mean, i knew I would someday -- just NOT this year.
